Parent surveys to improve NVUSD education
I am writing to help inform our community that the Napa Unified School District has created an elementary school parent satisfaction survey in English and Spanish and linked it to its home page, http://www.nvusd.k12.ca.us. Surveys for middle and high school parents will follow. Please take the time to complete the survey and encourage others to do so as well. . . .We have a huge opportunity here to strengthen our schools by working together across Napa, Yountville and American Canyon, with our NVUSD leaders, faculty and staff. School improvement is hard work but is well worth our time. Modeling “how to be a part of the solution” when problems are complex, demanding our patience and deeper levels of understanding is one of the best ways I can think of to teach children in Napa County what it means to be well educated in the 21st century.
